Nagaland University was established by the Nagaland University Act, 1989, the Parliament on September 6, 1994. Nagaland University is situated in the tribal dominated state of Nagaland have borders with Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur and Myanmar. The University has been assessed by NAAC. Nagaland University is an affiliate of the University. There are 48 colleges affiliated to this University, from different parts of the state.
